Visserijmuseum Breskens
Everything you want to know about fishery, marine animals, birds and much more….
At the Visserijmuseum, you will learn the fascinating story of the sea, about fishermen and their extraordinary catches of fossils, shells and other marine treasures. The museum boasts one of the largest bird collections and there is a sea aquarium that houses a variety of fish including sharks, seahorses, flatfish, crabs, shrimp, starfish and lobsters. A real fisherman teaches visitors how to tie a fishing net or fisherman’s knots. The best way to get to the Visserijmuseum in Breskens is by Westerschelde Ferry.
